Mark inks Florencia Palacios
Mark Basket Marbo Kinna (Damligan) agreed terms with 32-year old Argentinian ex-international forward Florencia Palacios (183-85). She is a dual citizen owning also Italian passport. Palacios played last season at Chabibeh in Lebanese Division I. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. Palacios also played that season for Barmer in German 2.Bundesliga where in 9 games she had 7.3ppg and 4.7rpg. She also spent pre-season at ChemCats Chemnitz in German league that year. The other team Palacios played that season for was Cote Vermeille Alberes Basket (NF3) in French league. In 8 games she recorded very impressive stats: 18.9ppg, 5.8rpg and 3.8apg.
She also played at the South American Club Championship three years ago.
Palacios
is quite experienced player. She has played in seven different
countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of
course North America). Palacios has played previously professionally in
Chile (Los Leones and Univ. Austral), Denmark (Lemvig), Luxembourg
(Sparta), Spain, Italy (Napoli BK Women, Scrivia and Il Fotoamatore
Firenze), WABA (Chicago S.) and Argentina (La Union).
She could be described:
Very strong Forward who can play in both 3 and 4 position. Very good 3point shooter and jump shoot.
She can play both forward, very fast moving close to the basket and
strong defense. She is quick and strong at the same time and can guards
small and power forward into or outside the paint. She is a very good
mid and long range shooter, skills which allow her to dribbling from the
basket or use her good jumper. Great moves in the paint. She likes to
play hard and she is very professional. Long experience around many
different countries and top divisions.
