Stjarnan (Women Domino's League) agreed terms with Argentinian international forward Florencia Palacios (183-F-85). She is a dual citizen owning also Italian passport. Palacios played last season at Mark Basket in the women Damligan in Sweden, She helped them to make it to the playoff.
Palacios is quite experienced player. She has played in eleven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Asia and of course North America). Palacios has played previously professionally in Chile (Los Leones and Univ. Austral), Denmark (Lemvig), Luxembourg (Sparta), Spain (Pio XII), Italy (Napoli BK Women, Scrivia and Il Fotoamatore Firenze), WABA USA (Chicago S.), Argentina (La Union) Sweden (Mark), France ( Cot), Germany (Barmer and Chemnitz) Lebanon (Chabibeh) and Iceland will be her next step in her amazing basketball journey.
She also played at the South American Club Championship four years ago.
She could be described: Very strong Forward who can play in both 3 and 4 position. Very good 3 point shooter and jump shoot.

She can play both forward, very fast moving close to the basket and strong defense. She is quick and strong at the same time and can guards small and power forward into or outside the paint. She is a very good mid and long range shooter, skills which allow her to dribbling from the basket or use her good jumper. Great moves in the paint. She likes to play hard and she is very professional. Long experience around many different countries and top divisions.
